When is a Good Time for an Audio Book?
They are a great option for moms to "pre-read" or follow along. Some of these titles can occasionally be a great as a family read aloud, to listen in the car on long road trips etc. As a rule, the RC core order books should be read individually by each student and audio books can not replace a parent read aloud, but on occasion, audio books can be helpful!
Times when Audio Books are especially helpful:
Mom pre-reading a book
Mom is sick and can't read aloud or needs a break
Reinforce reading/listening how words are pronounced for a struggling reader as they follow long
Nap time or quiet time for littles

Below are a list of our favorite book recommendations with great deals! They are categorized by age groups. Below that you will find a list of FREE audible books of many RC titles. Keep in mind, many times these free recordings are done by volunteers and sometimes purchasing a version created by a professional, might give a better listening experience.
