Testing can feel like a hot button issue in homeschooling.
Let's face it, the public schools have done a number with tests. They have lost sight of the end goal of teaching test-taking skills and a way to test if a student has truly understood and mastered the material, to a bureaucratic nightmare.
When the end goal is just to learn the material to master a test, then the student will probably end up hating learning. Homeschoolers must be cautious to not let this mentality creep into their methodology.
In today's Homeschooling Made Easy episode, we talk about testing in general and other curriculums that issue frequent quizzes and tests.
This episode will talk you through developing your own game plan based on the outcome you actually want.
